Google

Google offers a number of web 2.0 services for free that are eminently adaptable for use in a Library. Blogger and Picasa have already been mentioned but there are many others, including: a calendar, documents & spreadsheets (previously known as Writely), Groups - that enables the creation of mailing lists and discusison groups, Talk an Instant Message (IM) service and GMail as well. For a complete list of the services Google offers click on the link in the right-hand column of the page.

The only thing needed to access all these services is a Google account which is now freely available.

Singshot

SingShot is an on-line singing community which provides access to thousands of songs and allows you to record your own version of songs. SingShot also provides you with your own recording studio where you can organize your recordings, add favorite members and recordings, and communicate with other SingShot members.

Singshot is free, legal and the only thing you need to use is to click on the sign up for free button in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Artpad

An online drawing tool that can replay what you have drawn and display it online.

Dance Dance Revolution

Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR (also known as Dancing Stage in Europe) is a music video game series produced by Konami. It is available on Playstation, XBox and PC platforms.
